MeteorNews is a global community of authors bringing you meteor related content from around the world. The idea is to share results, to inform and to encourage meteor science!
MeteorNews relies on funding from sponsors for the hosting of its website. Every now and then we create a funding round with a target amount to cover the costs for hosting for a period of time. For the period 2020-2021 a target was set at 400£ and 575£ was raised for these two years. To cover all costs in 2022 and 2023 we set a target at 500£ and we received 705£, exceeding the target and so that we are covered far into 2024.
Currently there is no fund raising opened. We’ll consider a new round for 2024-2025.
