Here’s my results for a quick outing this past Friday morning at Bootland Farm. The sky was quite nice – average transparency. It was on the cool side, just a few degrees above freezing so I was glad to have my winter gear and tuque.
I observed for only an hour (2-3am EDT) and it was as much as I could stay awake for after a very busy day. I did see a good number of South Taurids, and my first Orionid. The nu Eridanids are definitely a long lasting minor shower – they produced a couple of meteors.
No early Draconids were seen.
