Roberto Gorelli points our attention at a recently published paper on this topic “Waiting to make an impact: A probable excess of near-Earth asteroids in 2018 LA-like orbits” by C. de la Fuente Marcos and R. de la Fuente Marcos.
This paper documents the NEO asteroid 2018 LA and its possible association to a meteor shower. This object is presented as the parent body of the fireball which dropped a meteorite in Botswana last June. This event was documented on Meteornews: https://www.emeteornews.net/2018/06/03/suspected-asteroid-zlaf9b2-impact/
